Session Outline

This is an invitation for participants to explore, (re)awaken and embody the creativity that underpins their facilitation practice.  What does it mean to be creative as a facilitator?  As we contemplate this question The Ubuntu philosophy “I am because you are” speaks to the very nature of facilitation.  As facilitators we are because of the relationship we have with ourselves and the people we are working with. They in turn are, due to our presence and way of being as a facilitator.  How we are as facilitators will influence and impact the dynamic in which we are engaged, be that knowingly or unknowingly.  Our ability to draw on our most creative self for the benefit of ourselves and others gives permission to others to do the same.  This experiential session will encourage you to identify and build on your creativity and creative facilitation known to you, and to delve into the aspects unknown to you. This session is premised with the question: ‘what does it feel like to bring more creativity to my facilitation practice?’  Through the processes offered in this session participants will find ways to integrate more of your creative self into your facilitation practice and in turn invite others to do the same.
