Ljudan Thorpe BIO
Ljudan Thorpe is of Aboriginal (Dhunghutti, Bidjara) and European descent. Her journey as a facilitator began in 1994 after training with Lee Oldershaw (US Leading female facilitator) in the Findhorn Foundation Format. She initially focused on dance healing facilitation with Leyola Decker in Chakra Dance & Kundalini Dance and added personal development facilitation and business coaching into the mix training with William Whitecloud in three modalities 'The Creative Orientation', Living From Greatness' and 'The Magician's Way'. For the last 10 years has a strong focus on Indigenous community development facilitation particularly Aboriginal women’s empowerment and leadership. Ljudan applies Aboriginal perspectives into all her teaching and facilitating structures. She is also a freelance consultant as a cultural advisor on film sets and a cultural awareness and capability facilitator for Indigenous and non-Indigenous organisations. She has a Bachelor of Indigenous Studies (major Trauma & Healing), Associate Degree in Health Sciences (Aboriginal Health & Community Development). She has recently deferred from her Bachelor of Psychological Sciences to complete a Masters in Screen Production at Griffith Film School.
