At the 2015 AFN conference I loved being surrounded by peers in the facilitation industry that I could have real conversations with. Conversations that didn't lead to a dead end but rather contributed to a stronger collective.
It was the true sense of the word network - we shared our knowledge, our connections, our issues, our successes - and we learnt from each other in a safe and supportive environment.
I remember walking away feeling rejuvenated and nurtured and no longer isolated in my profession.
So here I am today diving deeper into the network and committing myself to being a member of this year's working group for the annual conference. It's kinda daunting but mostly super exciting.
I invite you to join me in my blog journey toward the projected outcome of a wonderful Indigenous inspired theme for this years conference. I will also keep you informed of any relevant or related news or events that our AFN network members are doing between now and then.
You can also catch up with this news via facebook and twitter. I will do a linked communication across all social media - maybe not all but definitely facebook, twitter, linkedin and instagram.
