I think that 'sacred communication' is an essential part of connecting.
What’s something that might be surprising about you?
Something that might be surprising about me is that I have six children and three grand-children – as I look so young! 😊
What's the funniest facilitation moment you have ever had?
One of the funniest facilitation moments that I have ever had was quite recent. I was in Africa with some clients and we were sitting around a fire in the evening discussing our day when we heard some hippos in the river. We then started to do hippo sounds ourselves … It was hilarious! Oooooaaaaahhh!!!
What pearl of wisdom can you offer beginner facilitators?
My pearl of wisdom for beginner facilitators is to always create a sacred space that feels safe and real.
Adrian Hanks is 54 years old and has a blended family of six children and three grand-daughters. He works as a counsellor, psychotherapist and facilitator and is the Founder and Director of The Blue Wren Foundation, an organisation that works with relationship education to help promote family and community harmony and the prevention of domestic violence.
Adrian has been working with personal, professional and spiritual development for over twenty years and loves to share and deliver experiential, positively challenging and results focused workshops and programs. Conscious communication and conscious life style are a big part of what he aims to bring into his daily life.
Adrian loves to write, travel, be creative and spend time out in nature.
